Becoming a new mom is such an amazing feeling, but it comes with a lot of work. There are so many different things to get ready and plan before your little bundle comes into the world. You need to get the nursery together, buy all the baby items, pack your bag for the hospital and prepare your self for baby to arrive.

5 must have items for you in your hospital bag

1. Sweat Pants and tank top

These will come in handy after your baby is born. They are much more comfortable than the hospital gown.

2. Maternity pads

You will be given pads while in the hospital but the pads the give you are huge and bulky.

3. Underwear

A comfortable pair of bikini type underwear. You will want something slightly looser then normal so they do not rub you wrong.

4. Pillows

5. Blanket

5 must have items for baby in your hospital bag

1. Nipple Shield ( if wanting to breast feed) This is my number one recommend item if your planning on breastfeeding. If your baby hs difficulty latching this will help.

2. Going home outfit

3. Blanket

4. Socks

5. Large diaper bag

Depending on your hospital there will be a chance that you will have a lot of things to take home. We left the hospital with a pack of diapers, wipes, bottles and breast pump parts.

Pack your diaper bag a couple of weeks before your due date so that you can ensure your all ready and that there is no last-minute stressing! Take it easy as you get ready to welcome your new baby into the world. Welcome to motherhood!
