Weekly Cleaning for Busy Moms

House Chores

Cleaning oh no not that word! Is it even possible to fit weekly cleaning into the already busy stay at home mom life. Between keeping the children occupied and cooking the meals time seems to fly by.  Cleaning is one of the duties that occurs when being a stay at home mom and no matter how much we dread doing it, it has to be done. But how do you manage to get the cleaning done when you’re a busy mom. It can seem like the biggest chore to clean the house especially when the children are behind you destroying what you just cleaned up. (Oh I know they are perfect little ones they don’t do anything like that!)

Schedule

Cleaning the house can be such a chore but at the same time I find it calming at times. One thing I have found to make cleaning a lot easier is to have a schedule I can follow. This schedule helps to break it down into smaller segments that make it east for busy moms to tackle. It gives routine to the week and helps you to ensure that things get cleaned.

I have broken down my schedule to a room per day which each room consists of 3-4 tasks. Along with the weekly cleaning I have things that get done daily and bi-weekly. Even though you have three to 4 tasks per day, the daily cleaning should take about an hour depending on the size of the room. This maybe a thing to do if you wake up before your children in the morning, during nap or right before bed whatever works best for you and your daily schedule.
