Valentines Day Gifts

This is a very popular time of year, for couples anyway haha. They love to go out and express their love for each other while spending a ridiculous amount of money. Now I am not saying that it’s a bad thing to go and spend a bunch of money on dinner, flowers and gifts but honestly it’s not really worth it! It is so much more meaningful to give a gift that means something. Here are five of my favorite gifts to give and or receive.

1. My love for you… Scrap Book

My favorite gift is doing a love you book. I gave this to my boyfriend last year and he loved it! You put together a scrap-book with pictures from all over the world. you will need a scrap-book or binder, scrap paper and pictures.

To get these pictures there are groups on Facebook that you can join to swap pictures. To find these different groups search My love for you is so big it has reached.

Once you have all the pictures you want you can start building your scrapbook. One thing I did is I also added pictures of us from the different places we have traveled. Once it was all put together I wrote a letter to him to go with it and I added it as the first page. This is a gift they can treasure forever.

2. Picture Collage

Use a bunch of pictures that you guys have taken together and create a 8X10 collage. Frame it so your partner can hang it up on the wall and enjoy it over and over.

3. First met you

Take a screen shot of a map where you guys first met. Then take a screen shot of where your first kiss occurred. OR these pictures could be of where he asked you out or your first house together anything cute and memorable like that. Then cut them into a heat shape Glue them on a piece of 8X10 card stock with labeling of what they are under them. Decorate it to make it nice then frame it.

4. Love Scratch off

You can use the sheet I did here

You will need 1 tablespoon of dish soap, 1 tablespoon of acrylic paint, a paint brush, bowl, sharpie, white crayon, and either my sheet that you can print off or create your own.

*Tip if you want to use glitter paid I recommend doing a coat of a solid color and soap first then a top coat of the glitter paint with soap. If not you will need a lot of coats of the glitter paint!

Mix the dish soap and acrylic paint.

Write cute messages in the hearts.

Color the hearts with a white crayon

Then paint the mixture over the hearts. You may need to do a second coat. if you do let the first coat dry then do the second coat.

5. A Jar full of Love

Take a mason jar and either strips of paper Popsicle sticks. On which ever item you choose to use write down different things you will do for your partners. These could include: give a back massage, prepare a nice romantic bath, foot rub, cook nice dinner and so on. They then can choose one out and use it as a free coupon with you.
