Buying groceries can get quiet expensive at times especially if your buying for a family. Using coupons can help you save but at the same time it takes a great amount of time to look through newspapers and ads to find the right coupons. If you’re not interested in taking the time out to search for coupons no worries your smart phone is all you need for these 5+ money-saving apps for groceries. I love using these apps and I use them every time I go grocery shopping.
Ibotta
This is one of my absolute favorite apps to use. Ibotta is a rebate app that offers rebates for everyday items. There are times that they will offer you a rebate for just uploading any grocery receipt. New offers come out weekly so you will want to check the app often. Along with offering rebates they give you a sign up bonus, rewards you for referring friends and shopping online. Once you get to $20 you are able to redeem your rebates for gift cards, venmo account or pay-pal. You can use coupons along side with this
Checkout 51
Checkout 51 is a very easy rebate app to use. You can shop at any store to save money. To receive your rebate you will need to take a picture of your receipt and submit upload it to the app. New rebates come out every Thursday. Once you get $20 cash back you can cash out and have a check mailed to you. You can use coupons along side with this app.
Coupons.com app
A lot like coupons.com this is an app that does not require you to print coupons off. You will be given rebates for the items you purchase. To receive your cash back you take a picture of your receipt and upload it to the app. Your cash back amount will then go directly into your pay-pal account.
Saving Star
Saving star helps you save on groceries by providing you cash back and discounts at popular grocery stores. All you need to do is activate the rebate by the item at your local store. Then take a picture of your receipt and upload it to the app. You can use other coupons on top of the saving star app. Once you make $20 you are able to cash out.
Wal-Mart Savings Catcher
As of May 14th 2019 Walmart savings catcher has been discontinued!
Shopkick
Shopkick offers a fun and easy way to ear points for everyday items. This app can be used in many different stores. With this app you are not required to purchase items to make points. There are so many different ways to earn points. When you get to a store open the app you maybe able to receive points for walking into the store. Most store also offer you points for scanning items. You can use the discover section and watch short videos for points and you can even select from many of their online retailers to order items on-line for points. If you do make a purchase take a picture of your receipt and upload it to the app.
Saving Money
There are so many different apps out there that you can use to save money. Some provide cash back for grocery shopping, some offer cash back for online purchases while others will help watch price drops for you. Use what is best for you and your shopping habits.
