Do you enjoy decorating your house? Decorating is one of my favorite things to do! Each season and holiday I have a different decorations that come out. This Easter egg wreath is one of my favorite Easter decorations. It is cheap and easy to make and can be done in under two hours.
Lets get to it
Materials
Easter Eggs (I used around 70 eggs but it will all depend on the size of your eggs and how you position them on the wreath)
Easter Grass (I used one package but it depends on the amount of grass you want to use)
You will also need a hot glue gun and lots of glue and around an 18 inch piece of ribbon to hang your wreath
1.Lay your eggs out along with your wreath so you can easily grab the eggs when your ready. Start warming up your glue gun
2. You will start with the inside row of eggs. The pointy end of the egg will be facing inside the wreath. Put a dab of clue towards the bottom of the egg and stick in to the wreath. Stick the eggs as close together as possible.
3. After finishing the inner row star the outer row. The pointy side of the egg will now go towards the outer side of the wreath. Try to get these eggs as close to each other as you can. I recommend holding the eggs in place for a couple of seconds before going to the next egg or they will slide around. Trying to juggle the eggs and hot glue you do not want hot glue on the finger!
4. Now for the top row! I like to position every other egg differently. (See image below) Glue the center eggs balancing between the inner and out ring of eggs. There will be a few holes but that’s alright we will fill those holes during the next step!
5. Glue all the eggs down where they will not move around on you. You do not want any eggs popping off. Grab you piece of ribbon and grass. Fish your ribbon around your wreath going through the holes between the eggs
6. Start by grabbing little pinches of grass and putting into a clump of grass. Find the holes and tiny opening between the eggs. Put a good dab of glue than shove the grass in. I like to then wrap the extra dangley grass around the other eggs and around to the other side of the wreath. The grass will really help to fill out your wreath. Use as much as you want!
It is now Complete!
Hang it for display so you can show off your work!
Enjoy hanging this Easter Egg Wreath Decoration! Mine is in my entry way, where will you hang yours?
